Bookkeeping & Payroll

Clean, reconciled books and on-time payroll — every month

Most CRA penalties and lender headaches start with messy books. BOMCAS Canada provides monthly cloud bookkeeping with full bank and credit-card reconciliations, accurate GST/HST tracking, and management reports you can actually read.

For payroll, we calculate and remit CPP, EI, and federal/provincial income tax withholdings to CRA on your behalf, file T4 and T4A slips at year-end, issue Records of Employment, and handle provincial workers\' compensation board remittances (WCB Alberta, WorkSafeBC, WSIB Ontario, CNESST Quebec, and others).

  • Monthly bookkeeping — QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or your existing system
  • Catch-up & cleanup — years behind? We rebuild your books and bring you current
  • Multi-province payroll — including BC EHT, Ontario EHT, Manitoba HE Levy, Quebec Revenu Québec
  • Year-end T4 / T4A / T5018 — preparation and CRA filing
  • ROE issuance — Records of Employment for departing employees

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does BOMCAS Canada serve clients outside Edmonton?
Yes. BOMCAS Canada provides virtual, remote, and cloud-based accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll services to clients across every Canadian province and territory. Our secure document portal, video meetings, and e-signature workflow allow us to serve clients anywhere in Canada with the same quality and care as in-person engagements.
How do I get started with BOMCAS Canada?
Call 780-667-5250 or submit the contact form on this page. We respond within one business day, schedule a complimentary discovery conversation, and provide a clear written engagement letter outlining scope, deliverables, timing, and pricing before any work begins.
Are your services secure for sensitive financial documents?
Yes. We use encrypted client portals, multi-factor authentication, and CRA-compliant secure messaging. We never share documents through unsecured email and follow all Canadian privacy law including PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy statutes.
What software do you support?
We work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, Wave, FreshBooks, and several industry-specific platforms (PCLaw, Clio, ShoeBoxed, Dext, Hubdoc). We can migrate from one platform to another or work with whatever system best fits your business.
How are your fees structured?
Most engagements are billed at a fixed monthly fee or a fixed per-project fee so you know exactly what you will pay. Hourly billing is used only for unpredictable items such as CRA audit response. All pricing is disclosed in writing before work begins.
When is the deadline to file my Canadian personal tax return (T1)?
The general deadline is April 30. If you or your spouse are self-employed, the filing deadline is June 15, but any balance owing is still due April 30 to avoid interest. RRSP contributions for the prior tax year must be made by the 60th day of the new year (typically March 1 or March 2).
When is the deadline to file a Canadian corporate tax return (T2)?
T2 corporate returns are due six months after the corporation's fiscal year-end. Any balance owing is due two months after year-end (three months for most Canadian-controlled private corporations claiming the small business deduction).
