We deliberately operate on a remote-first model so that we can serve Canadian individuals, self-employed professionals, contractors, owner-operators, real estate investors, medical professionals, and Canadian-controlled private corporations (CCPCs) without geographic limitations and without passing the cost of large downtown offices on to our clients.

What happens after you contact us

When you submit a contact form or send us an email, a Canadian accountant reviews the nature of your request and prepares a short, written response that addresses your immediate question, outlines the documents we would need to take the next step, and provides a transparent fee estimate where possible. If your situation involves a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) deadline — for example a T1 personal tax return, a T2 corporate return due six months after your fiscal year end, a GST/HST filing window, a payroll source-deduction remittance, or a CRA review or audit response — we triage it immediately and respond the same business day in most cases.

For new client engagements we schedule a complimentary 20–30 minute discovery call by phone, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom. During that call we listen first, ask focused questions about your business structure, prior-year filings, bookkeeping system, and pain points, and then explain in plain Canadian English how we would approach your file. We never use high-pressure sales tactics, never sign you up for services you do not need, and never lock you into long-term contracts.

Email, phone, and form security

Tax and accounting information is among the most sensitive data Canadians share with any professional. BOMCAS Canada takes data protection seriously and applies safeguards that align with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Income Tax Act confidentiality rules, and CRA Identification Protocols for representatives. Our contact form is protected by Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) tokens, a server-side honeypot, request rate limiting, input validation and sanitization, and optional Google reCAPTCHA / Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection. We log only the minimum information required to operate the form (timestamp, hashed IP, page URL, and consent flag) and we never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.

Once you become a client, we move all sensitive document exchange to a Canadian-hosted secure client portal with two-factor authentication, end-to-end encryption in transit, and granular access controls. We discourage clients from sending tax slips (T4, T4A, T5, T3, T2202, RRSP contribution receipts, etc.) by ordinary email, and we will never ask you to send your Social Insurance Number, banking details, or CRA My Account credentials in plain email.

We handle CRA filings under all provincial and territorial tax regimes, including Quebec's separate Revenu Québec personal and corporate filings (TP-1, CO-17), Alberta's separate AT1 corporate return, and combined HST jurisdictions (Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).

BOMCAS Canada provides service in English, with email and written-document support available in French for clients in Quebec, New Brunswick, and elsewhere in francophone Canada. We design our website, client portal, and document templates to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatible labels and headings, high-contrast colour palettes, scalable text, and alternative text on all meaningful images. If you have an accessibility request — a different document format, large-print invoice, transcript of a recorded meeting, or anything else — please mention it on the form or by phone and we will accommodate it at no extra cost.

What we are not

We believe Canadians deserve straight answers. BOMCAS Canada is not a CPA firm; we are a professional bookkeeping, tax, and advisory practice that focuses on the day-to-day Canadian tax and accounting work that most individuals and small businesses actually need. When an engagement requires a signed audit report, a CPA review engagement, or a CPA notice-to-reader compilation engagement, we will refer you to a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant. We also do not provide legal advice, securities advice, or insurance products; for those matters we will recommend that you consult a Canadian lawyer, an investment advisor, or a licensed insurance broker.
